Responsible gambling
Introduction
Being a licensed gaming operator, CHEXX adheres to the strictest rules and principles regarding responsible gambling. Given the importance of taking a holistic approach to solving the problem of gambling addiction, we consider responsible gaming standards to be of the utmost importance.
We really hope that for all our players gambling remains an enjoyable form of entertainment rather than a source of harm or income.
This section of the website is created not only for those who have encountered difficulties and problems in their gaming behavior, but also for each of you!
Please take your time and pay special attention to this section!
Responsible Gambling Policy
We present to you our Responsible Gambling Policy, please read it carefully.
Responsible Gambling tools
Self-exclusion is always available for our players. “Self-exclusion” means that you exclude yourself, out of your own choice, from all gambling services.
Please keep in mind that self-exclusion is permanent for the set time span and will not be undone for your own protection.
If you feel that you need to take a break, please go to your profile and set your exclusion period. With the help of a blocking period, you can limit access to games.
Contact support for more information or support on connecting the self-exclusion service.
Responsible Gambling Self-assessment
We encourage all of you to regularly assess your gaming habits to determine whether your gambling remains within healthy limits.
Below methods of self-assessment will not take much of your time, however it will help you to identify potential problems in gambling behavior in advance.
Based on the test's results, you will be able to make informed decision about your gambling activity.
If you have any questions regarding the interpretation of the results or you feel that you need help, please contact us.
1) Key indicators
It is very easy to become overly carried away by the game. Players may devalue the problem or not admit that they have encountered difficulties.
Here are some factors that may indicate that something is wrong:
Mood depends on whether you can play or not
The game becomes more important than other activities
Everything that is not related to the game becomes insignificant
The longer you can’t play, the worse it becomes
Conflicts with others begin to arise
Relapses – it seems that there is no addiction, but after a break the desire to play intensifies
2) Useful tests
We would offer you the following test (20-question quiz) that is published here: https://gamblersanonymous.org/20-questions/
You also can take a self-test, if you are already gambling addicted at: https://www.begambleaware.org/gambling-problems/do-i-have-a-gambling-problem/
In addition, you may use this adapted CAGE Questionnaire:
C – Cut Down: Have you ever felt you should cut down on your gambling?
A – Annoyed: Have people annoyed you by criticizing your gambling habits?
G – Guilty: Have you ever felt guilty about your gambling?
E – Eye-Opener: Have you ever had a morning “eye-opener“ to steady your nerves or recover from gambling losses?
Interpreting the results:
0 Yes answers: Low risk for gambling problems.
1 Yes answer: Moderate risk; further assessment may be needed.
2 or more Yes answers: High risk; further evaluation is strongly recommended.
